WIRING CAR AMPLIFIER INSIDE HOUSE
Now then there's a few ways in which you can set up a car amplifier inside your home and one of those ways involves the use of a pc power supply.
i'm going to set up my car amplifier in my house the way I say it up in my car oh and by the way i'm using manual focusing and zooming i do this manually each and every time I'm doing it with one hand practice makes perfect I suggest you do a little research you want to use one of these the way they're supposed to be used.
but it goes along the lines of connect all the yellows together connects blacks together those are your positives and negatives and then the green wire that seems to be connected with black wire right here gives the system the signal to turn on and then you can use it as you want yeah so you basically then connect the yellow and black to whatever you want and erm Bob is your uncle so this right here is the top of ^&$*%^ is the top of my house and I'm gonna try to get up there even though I don't have a ladder and I'm going to try to look for a switch because a switch will come in handy for what I'm about to do let's see if any spiders pop out and land on my head because that's always fun.
so far so good turns out that the tub i was after actually just full of cds and things that are of no use whatsoever so what i thought i had in that tub was bits of electronic parts and stuff you know like random wires and screws i was looking for a switch like something like this.
only obviously not like this then I realize that under the stairs I have this and this is supposed to be some sort of a light switch but obviously there's no bulb attached to it and the end of this wire is not connected to anything so maybe I could take that apart okay so take me off of the wall so it is an old-school piece of crap and and you can tell.

well I can tell think mainly because of this switch and also erm I don't know what else! this is the wire that's attached to it no shit! make sure it's turned off I think that's off so that's what it looks like on the inside how do I detach this. that's going to be a bit of an issue hang on turn this spongy now the switch is detached the switch is too long so I'm going to have to unscrew this then this comes out yes yes so the way in which i'm going to set up my car amplifier is with these now it's time for the fun part that involves me taking these into the living room I think they could do with a bit more of a clean but, they should be alright by the way these are fully charged and ready to do some damage although i don't think .

i'll be doing any damage in my living room plus my neighbors at home could do with just vacuuming that bit cat hairs get everywhere that's enough vacuuming for this week here we have number one here's number two so now I'll move some of those weights out the way and we will get started on connecting the amp there we go, how's that is that? is that any good? is that better? is that going to bother the wife? how about this ? or even that? or this? or this? or those!? what I'm going to do is connect them like this that to there and same for this side let's have a look at these.
first this one has ends like that with a gap so the bolts don't need to be completely taken off this is supposed to go under the plate and there is no plate on this one, weird actually that's not as bad as I thought it would be now it's time for this side I've got a completely take this out connect it like so this is what boredom does to me what does boredom do to you? keep it slightly loose because we've got to connect the amplifier so because the amplifier has two grounds and two positive connections I need two of each wire, so. that's going to be fun this can go there and that can go there got to put that in first cause it's falling out of the bottom Usain Bolt you see that little bolt I've got to put this under there like so It kind of slots.
SLOTS UNDER THERE! right. now gonna put that there and WHERE'S THE OTHER ONE!? and then send the bolt through it finally, FINALLY! and that's it we're done thanks for watching and I'm only joking so tighten that down tighten this one down.
and now we connect these ground wires to the POSITIVE! could you imagine ?! aah, son of a bitch! so now we're going to connect the positives the ends of these are covered by the way which is good because we don't want these ones touching anything although in your house it doesn't really matter because nothing is connected to the ground apart from these wires that you've connected put that under there like, like.
LIKE SO now the other pain in the arse and.
that bolt has not fallen out which is a miracle put this into position properly and then the oh and then the bolt falls out there we go that's back in and now we put our fingers there and and tighten this this was actually the ground that was connected to the chassis in the don't need that so the wife will be extra pleased. that there's only this in. in the living room if I spin the camera around I actually have a wire back here somewhere I can just about see it I think I'll use this for the remote wire I think this should do just fine but now it's time to change tripods literally just spent 15 minutes looking for Allen keys and and they were on the other side of the living room so now all we do is connect these that's too big that's the same size and this is the right one so one of the cons of doing this indoors is that sometimes these copper strands can come off and end up going into your carpet if you don't have carpet they'll end up in your socks and if you're not careful they'll end up in your fingertips so I just got to make sure this is actually ground and it is and I'm going to connect the ground first because no reason whatsoever so this is spinning that way as I insert it turn it in the opposite direction but these strands are spinning in as I put it in I've got to turn it anti-clockwise and like so. that went in nicely next we do the other ground.
same procedure twist these in one direction and then turn the wire in the same direction as you insert it you want to twist it the opposite direction twisting and it's sort of doing it itself and now we tighten this don't need it too tight so the same procedure applies only this time be prepared for some sparks or loud noises that wasn't that bad was it in fact, that wasn't bad at all and I'm looking at the batteries to make sure everything's connected which it is so let's continue and then the same for the other yeah I think I'll need to vacuum the rest of that so let's just leave this cos that's a bit of a time waste and there we go now the only one that's left is the remote wire there's the switch i'm going to use so so what I'm going to do with this is where are my scissors?! sure I brought the.

ok so I'm going to chop this end off let's just use about that much and chop this in half like so that's one done and I'll do the same to the other twist that a little bit and then put this end in here tighten that down and twist this side put that in there now back to the amplifier :) so now I'm going to loosen this one just a bit and I'm gonna try to slip this one into there. like that and then tighten it down and now I'm gonna connect this end to the remote like so so it seems as though I've been lucky because it's in the off position that's a fan on the underside of the amp and when I press the button you'll see it turn on because this is in the back of my car I've never really noticed how noisy it actually is you could use this in your home theatre as a bass amplifier but really got to keep it in a cabinet or something that will keep the noise at bay what I think I'll do now is probably well might just take that sub out of there again and have a bit of fun with it I'll make this a two-part video this is the first part and for the next part of the video will be connecting the amp to to that sub oh yeah before I forget, If I wanted to charge these batteries whilst using the amplifier what I could do is use that PC power supply or use my battery charger but obviously with these being deep cycle batteries they can run for a few hours without any issues what so ever and it's not like I'm going to be cranking up the bass indoors if you enjoy this then stay tuned because I will be back thumbs up thumbs down subscribe unsubscribe I love you all.
